In February Luz Sheperd sent a photo of her beautiful camellia plant. Then Joe Cross presented a video of Washu demonstrating her method of painting a dahlia. Finally the artist Kitty Tow was introduced and shared narcissus folklore. Here are some results from the workshop.

In March we were lucky to have a wonderful guest artist, Kitty Tow who dedicated her presentation to Kazuko Reynolds (Washu). She discussed differences between Japanese and Chinese methods of ink painting and demonstrated her method of painting birds, peonies and magnolias.

In October, Nellie Garcia gave a slide show on composition emphasizing the golden ratio. Following the discussion she gave away a book--The Simple Secret to Better Painting by Greg Albert. Congratulations to Elsa who won the drawing.
