Garden Tour 2021

In February Luz Sheperd sent a photo of her beautiful camellia plant. Then Joe Cross presented a video of Washu demonstrating her method of painting a dahlia. Finally the artist Kitty Tow was introduced and shared narcissus folklore. Here are some results from the workshop.

In May Christina Matchett talked about herons and did a beautiful demonstration. Here is her painting and some from other members:

In September Joe Cross did a sumi-e demonstration. His subject was a barrel cactus with iceplant and a rock. Here are paintings of the same subject by other of our members.

In October, Nellie Garcia gave a slide show on composition emphasizing the golden ratio. Following the discussion she gave away a book--The Simple Secret to Better Painting by Greg Albert. Congratulations to Elsa who won the drawing.

Finally she presented a bouquet of various autumn flowers featuring a lovely spider mum. Here are some of the results of the workshop.
